Our Mission

To ensure the sustainability of forestry monitoring activities, therefore the existence of an organization to manage monitoring fund is a necessity. Securing funding for independent monitors already regulated through Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 30 Year 2016, specifically on Article 27 on funding source for independent monitoring, that can be obtained from the National State Budget, Local State Budget, and other legitimate and not binding sources.

YAYASAN PEMANTAU INDEPENDEN KEHUTANAN INDONESIA (Y-PIKI)

In this period, an institution named PEMANTAU INDEPENDEN KEHUTANAN INDONESIA (Y-PIKI). was established. It was on 27 April 2017 in Bogor and authorized by Public Notary Ellyza, SH, MKn, through Notary Act No. 03/2017, Y-PIKI has been registered through the Decree of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia AHU-0007611.AH.01.04. tahun 2007concerning the Establishment of Legal Entity of Indonesian Independent Forest Monitoring Foundation. This foundation later on will be called as Independent Forest Monitoring Fund (IFM Fund).
